HHA – Care Assistant

Job Description:

Pay:

$20.00/hour

Candidate Requirements:

Have a professional reference

Be willing and able to work at least two shifts weekly with the same client(s) to provide consistent care and build strong relationships

Possess basic English speaking, reading, and writing skills (bilingual or multilingual individuals are encouraged to apply)

Comply with any federal, state, or local regulations and background checks.

Use the care management app and have a device compatible with the latest version of iOS or Android

Care Assistant/Caregiver Responsibilities:

Provide individual assistance with practical and non-medical daily living activities, including bathing, toileting, and dressing

Offer companionship and emotional support

Provide medications reminders

Prepare and serve nutritious meals

Perform light housekeeping duties

Accompany clients to appointments and social outings

Monitor and report changes in the client’s health or behavior

Experience:

Preferred experience in elder care, daycare, or related fields

Knowledge of first aid procedures

Ability to assist with mobility and transfers

Familiarity with medication administration

Strong communication and interpersonal relationship skills

Valid driver’s license for transportation needs

Experience in nursing, social work, or home/community care is a plus
